Jason Wu is collaborating with Bespoke Beauty Brands to launch a namesake cosmetics brand nationwide in January 2021. The full collection, titled Jason Wu Beauty, includes everyday essentials for eyes, cheeks, lips, and brows. This venture “marks the first time a major fashion designer has entered the mass-market beauty space,” Bespoke Beauty states —and will be the second brand to roll out under its umbrella. (BBB’s founder is Toni Ko, who created NYX Cosmetics before L”oreal purchased it.) “Functional makeup doesn’t have to be expensive,” shares Toni Ko. “I believe every consumer should have access to high-quality cosmetics that will make them look and feel their best, while being good to their skin.” Jason Wu, a 37-year-old fashion designer who has dressed former First Lady Michelle Obama, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, Reese Witherspoon—and more. He says, “When I launched my first fragrance, I had in my mind this dream to create Jason Wu Beauty as an exclamation point to everything that I love.” The products in the collection are clean and cruelty-free, at price points ranging from $10.00 – $25.00, The line includes Brows Before Boys, a multi-use powder for brows and hairline; Celestial Lust highly pigmented cream shadows; Jason the Freckled Boy faux freckles; and more innovative products.
